Dr Calem De Búrca is a Clinical Psychologist and Chief Executive Officer of a leading not-for-profit organisation delivering integrated mental health, social work, and education services.
A graduate of the University of Oxford’s Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme, Dr De Búrca also holds an MSc in Forensic Psychology. He brings extensive expertise in psychological assessment, consultation, and trauma-informed practice across clinical and organisational contexts.
Dr De Búrca provides expert psychological evidence and consultation to the courts and statutory agencies in complex adult cases involving cognitive, neurodevelopmental, attachment, trauma, mental health, and risk factors. His opinions are recognised for their clarity, analytical depth, and empirical grounding.
Alongside his clinical and leadership roles, Dr De Búrca lectures on doctoral psychology programmes at University College Cork and Mary Immaculate College. His published research explores attachment, emotion regulation, and forensic risk assessment.
